Task 2: A view from my window

I live at Vargas Street so from my window you can see one of the most bustling areas of Santander: Cuatro Caminos roundabout. This is also one of the most important access to the city so this is the reason why, in the rush hour, you can see huge traffic jams that may cause noise pollution that could be annoying for the neighbours. What's more, I have seen more than one traffic accident in this roundabout.

Besides, my appartment is very close to Valdecilla hospital so you can hear ambulance sirens constantly.

Apart from other buildings, you can see the usual components of a city such as traffic lights, zebra crossings, traffic signs and different kinds of stores such as perfumeries, banks, supermarkets or driving schools. Besides, Cantabria Hospital can be seen in the background of the photograph.

I enjoy looking out of my window and contemplate the burstle of the city but I may recognize that sometimes I need some calm. For instance, when I have to study or when I am trying to do something important I prefer moving to another part of the house in order to concentrate better.

Surely, I will miss my window when I move because I just enjoy gazing at passers-by in the street. Nevertheless, I firmly recognize that the noise pollution is a great disadvantage. I suppose this is the price you have to pay for living in the city centre.
